As you go from channel to channel on the SpivO Network, you will see the “ads by Google” slogan displayed at the top, side, and bottom of pages on the SpivO Network. Some visitors get confused by this so we are going to publicly answer a few frequently asked questions.

Q: Why does SpivO support their competition?

A: Easy, Google is not considered competition. While SpivO does have a web search engine, SpivO’s primary focus is on being an online resource. We want to build relevant channels to attract individual users with individual interests.

Q: Does SpivO have a special relationship with Google?

A: Nope. SpivO’s relationship with Google is based on the standard terms of their Adwords program.

Q: Why doesn’t SpivO only display SpivO Ads?

A: SpivO’s advertising program is based on relevance. For example, an advertiser only related to gaming can only advertise on SpivO’s Online Games channel. That way, users only see relevant ads and advertisers only have relevant viewers. Google Ads simply supplement ad space when SpivO doesn’t have internal ads to display.

Q: Is SpivO affiliated with Google?

A: No. SpivO is only affiliated through the Google Adwords program. SpivO is not owned by or affiliated with Google, Inc., in any other way than outlined in the Google Adwords terms of use.
