The best GoPro stick on the market?

We have always thought so but apparently others are finally catching on too!

A couple weeks ago we found out that Spivo had been chosen to win an award at the prestigious Best Ottawa Business Awards... we did not even know we were nominated. 

Produced by The Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and Sponsored by Telfer School, Invest Ottawa, The Ottawa Senators, and many other great organizations the event was a sellout!

Having a gathering of all of the national capital's most successful businesses and business people was truly inspiring and motivating.

Hosted by TSN's Ian Mendes and CTV's Lisanne Laing the evening was full of laughs, smiles, great food, and touching stories. 

Spivo had been selected to win #NEXTBIGTHING. As such, founders Marc and Andre were asked a few questions in front of the over 600 strong audience. 

Building off of the CEO of the Year, David Ross' speech on keeping manufacturing in Canada, Marc received a round of applause after stating, "We create products here in Ottawa and sell them all over the world".

As a surprise to the crowd, Commander Chris Hadfield, a highly respected astronaut, gave an introduction to the lifetime achievement winner Michael Potter who delivered a heart warming speech about the importance of family.

Overall Spivo felt wildly blessed to share a stage and be honoured with such monumental people and companies.

I guess now we really have to become the Next Big Thing!
